- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Our malamute-cross introduced herself to a porcupine late Saturday afternoon. We had never used HVH before, but we called the office (which was closed) and got the number for the on-call vet. He met us at the office, sedated our dog, and removed the quills, and we were back at the cottage in time for supper. Hopefully she's learned her lesson and will stay away from porcupines from now on. Thanks again to Dr. Bill Ferguson for his help!by Kathy BeckerSeptember 17, 2017
